The red color scheme is pretty much everywhere, and while it sounds like it might be overwhelming, they’ve actually done it quite tastefully. I mean, it’s bold, sure, but not gaudy – more like staying in someone’s really well-designed personal space rather than some cheesy themed hotel.

What really surprised me was how genuinely comfortable everything was. The bed was solid (and yes, I know what you’re thinking, but I’m talking about actual sleep quality here), the bathroom had great water pressure, and there’s this little kitchenette that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the Biedronka down the street instead of eating out every meal. The host was super responsive too – I had a question about parking around 10 PM, and they got back to me within minutes with specific streets where I wouldn’t get ticketed overnight. Speaking of which, parking can be a bit tricky in this area during weekdays, but weekends are pretty manageable if you don’t mind walking a block or two.

You know what really won me over though? The attention to small details. There’s good WiFi throughout (I was working remotely for part of my stay), blackout curtains that actually work, and they’ve got this sound system that… well, let’s just say it’s quality equipment. The whole place is surprisingly quiet too, considering you’re on a fairly busy street – good windows make all the difference. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s clearly not for everyone given the theme, but if you’re open-minded and just want a clean, comfortable place to crash that’s different from your typical business hotel, this delivers. Plus, honestly, at these prices in this part of the city, you’re getting way more character and comfort than you’d find at some generic chain. Just maybe give your friends a heads up about the name before you tell them where you’re staying – saves some awkward conversations later.
