Look, I’ll be honest – BAST 143 Apartamenty has one of the longest names I’ve ever seen for accommodation, but once you get past that mouthful, this place is actually a solid find right in the heart of Łódź. I mean, you’re literally on Piotrkowska Street, which is basically the main artery of the city. You know that feeling when you step out of your hotel and you’re already where you want to be? That’s exactly what happens here.

The apartments themselves are nothing fancy – it’s a 3-star setup – but honestly, they’ve got everything sorted out in ways that matter. Some units come with proper bathtubs (trust me, after walking Piotrkowska all day, you’ll appreciate this), others have those little balconies where you can watch the street life below. The elevator works, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places in this part of Europe still make you haul your luggage up three flights. What really impressed me was the parking situation – they actually have spots on the property, which in Śródmieście is like finding gold. Most places around here, you’re circling blocks looking for street parking or paying through the nose for some distant garage.

The location is where this place really shines though. You’re walking distance from Wytwórnia, that cool cultural center that used to be a factory, and EC1 is right there too if you’re into science museums. I spent an afternoon at the Orientarium – it’s this massive zoo complex that’s surprisingly world-class for Łódź – and getting back to the apartment was just a quick ride. Atlas Arena is close by too, so if there’s a concert or sports event, you’re golden. The neighborhood gets lively at night, especially on weekends, but the windows are decent enough that it doesn’t turn into a noise nightmare. Actually, I kind of enjoyed falling asleep to the distant hum of Piotrkowska’s nightlife – it felt authentically urban without being obnoxious. The 9.1 rating makes total sense when you add it all up. Sure, you’re not getting luxury finishes or a concierge, but the value proposition is spot-on, especially if you want to be in the thick of things without paying old town prices.

  What could be improved: – Confusing to find the staircase (maybe its my problem) 😃
  – Parking was in construction, so need to leave car in not very good other parking. But I think in few weeks it will be possible park car near apartaments:)
  – Our room view from window to inner courtyard
  – Early in the morning someone start work with some constructions. Very loud. About 6-7 a.m. in local time.
  
  Anyway I recommend it, because 3 of 4 points are bad luck of me that day 😅

  Exceptional location – in the heart of the city. Apartment is on the main street, so all the restaurants are accessible immediately. On the opposite side of the street there is lovely food/drinks court. Public transport available in a couple of minutes of walking.

  Very good location. Room was spotless, beds were comfy. There is all the essentials that you might need while traveling. Kids loved the loft bed. Parking spot in such location is a huge plus.
  
  What could be improved: Wifi signal is quite weak. Wood like to have bigger cups for tea. But that's small things that are not very important, however would add to overall satisfaction.
