I stayed in one of their units last spring, and honestly, the kitchen was better equipped than my own back home – proper pots and pans, not those flimsy tourist things. The whole setup reminded me of staying at a friend’s place, except everything actually worked and the sheets were properly ironed. The 7.9 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be fancy, but it nails the basics and then some.

What I really appreciated was how it sits in this sweet spot location-wise. You’re in Śródmieście, so you can actually walk to most of the interesting bits of Łódź without dealing with buses or anything complicated. Piotrkowska Street – where all the action happens – is maybe fifteen minutes on foot, twenty if you’re meandering and peeking into shop windows. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, which was perfect after long days of wandering around the city. There’s a little grocery shop practically next door (I think it was a Żabka), and the woman working there in the mornings was incredibly patient with my terrible Polish. Parking was surprisingly easy too – there’s street parking that doesn’t require an engineering degree to figure out, unlike some places I’ve stayed in European cities. The check-in process was smooth, though you might want to communicate your arrival time ahead of schedule since it’s not a traditional hotel with 24-hour reception. But really, once you’re settled in, it feels less like accommodation and more like you’ve got your own little corner of Łódź to call home for a few days.
