Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Aparthotel Łódź 55 Piotrkowska, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes you get pleasantly surprised. This little aparthotel sits right on Piotrkowska Street, which is basically the heartbeat of Łódź, and that location alone makes it worth considering.

The thing about being on Piotrkowska is that you’re literally in the middle of everything that matters in this city. I mean, you can stumble out the front door and you’re already on Poland’s longest pedestrian street – lined with cafes, bars, and these gorgeous 19th-century buildings that somehow survived everything history threw at them. The tram stops are right there too, which honestly saved me so much hassle getting around. What I really appreciated (and this might sound weird) is that even though you’re on the main drag, the rooms don’t get hammered with street noise like you’d expect. They must have decent windows or something, because I actually slept pretty well most nights.

The apartments themselves are… well, they’re exactly what you’d want from this kind of place. Nothing fancy, but everything works and it feels clean and lived-in rather than sterile. The kitchenettes are small but functional – I managed to make coffee and heat up some pierogi I grabbed from the market without any drama. The staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood, too. When I asked about finding a good milk bar (you know, those old Polish cafeteria-style places), the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward some tourist trap – he sent me to this tiny spot three blocks away where locals actually eat. That’s the kind of detail that tells me people here actually care about what they’re doing. The 8.4 rating makes sense to me because while it’s not going to blow your mind, it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. If you’re the type who needs a pool and room service and all that, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a solid base for exploring Łódź without spending a fortune – and honestly, being able to walk to OFF Piotrkowska (this cool converted factory space) in fifteen minutes is pretty sweet – then yeah, I’d definitely stay here again.

  The hotel is in a very good location just off the main Street. The room was very good and clean. Lots of restaurants nearby. Trams in easy walking distance.

  Location was excellent, clean room, good breakfast, friendly host. Thanks to the lady at the buffet did our omelette fresh-served on a plate during breakfast. We enjoyed our short stay in Łódź.
  
  What could be improved: Our room is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. We need to hand-carry all luggages upstairs. But, apart from that, the building is nice and renovation is still on-going.

  What could be improved: The door connecting rooms 113 and 114 offers little in sound suppression. You can hear conversation and TV clearly from the other room. Thankfully I sleep with earplugs. Currently building works in the courtyard, they started at 7am.

  Both I and my partner enjoyed the stay. Overall it was clean well looked after and there was no big issues. Good location and it was in the center of town.
  
  What could be improved: The shower holder was quite loose most probably because of being used a lot so it could do with being changed or tightened because it does fall right to the bottom of the mounting rail.. And the other issue or I should say my issue was that the fan was wired in into the light electrics so I could not have it on during the night unless the light on the entrance was on. Other than that though the facilities provided I would say are most definitely worth the price.
