Apartamenty Piotrkowska 28 by Good Time Overview

Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of apartment-style places across Poland, and Apartamenty Piotrkowska 28 by Good Time honestly surprised me in the best way. You walk up to this building right on Piotrkowska Street – and I mean RIGHT on it, which sounds like it could be a nightmare noise-wise, but here’s the thing: the windows are actually decent quality, so you get all the energy of Łódź’s main pedestrian strip without feeling like you’re sleeping in a nightclub.

The location is just… well, it’s perfect if you want to experience Łódź properly. You’re literally steps from all those converted factories that now house galleries and cafes – I mean, you can see people wandering between Manufaktura and the old textile district from some of the windows. What I really appreciated was how the apartments felt like someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show (I actually cooked breakfast a few times), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The WiFi works properly too, which – let’s be honest – isn’t always a given in these older buildings that have been converted.

You know what really sold me on this place? The little details that show they understand their guests. Check-in was straightforward, no weird complications or hunting around for keys. The neighborhood gets lively in the evenings – Piotrkowska has this great energy with locals and students mixing around – but it settles down enough by midnight that you can actually sleep. I stayed there during both a busy weekend and a quieter Tuesday night, and honestly, both experiences worked well. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me because while it’s not luxury (it’s a solid 3-star setup), everything just… works. The shower pressure is fine, the heating responds when you adjust it, and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night. If you’re the type who wants to be in the thick of things in Łódź but still have your own space to retreat to, this is exactly what you’re looking for. Plus, having a kitchen means you can grab fresh bread from the local bakeries and actually enjoy it properly – which, trust me, is worth doing in this part of Poland.

Lodz’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with industrial charm, perfect for creative travelers wanting to experience daily life in this artistically vibrant Polish city.

Reviews of Apartamenty Piotrkowska 28 by Good Time

  • Thank you, great experience. – Aurika from Latvia – July 27, 2025 (8/10)

Good chose for the money. Friendly staff, but you should go to another location to get key box codes and receipt – about 15 min, locates the same street. Excellent location – in the heart of the city!

What could be improved: No information about Wifi in the property.

  • Wonderful – Dan from Sweden – May 8, 2025 (9/10)

They actually did change our accommodation to the main building on the same street: Piotrkowska 120. And I assume for the better. Nice apartment, clean, quite, and equipped with all stuff you need. Very service minded people at the reception desk. Extra bonus is a Cafe downstairs were they treat the guests with free and delicious coffee:-)

What could be improved: No criticism for the place itself. But… to be honest. There is not much to do or see in Lodz. Lots of construction going on in the city right now and everything is concentrated to one long street! Been there. Done that;-)

  • Very Good – Hegyi from Hungary – January 17, 2025 (8/10)

Piotrkovska is the main street in Lódz, so the place is awesome.

What could be improved: The bed was not the best, i felt between two beds, they said it is a double size bed but it was just two regular beds next to each others.

  • It was ok – Radoslaw from Poland – October 14, 2024 (7/10)

The room has a nice, modern decor

What could be improved: The staircase looked like something out of a horror movie

  • Very Good – Yevheniia from Ukraine – September 3, 2024 (8/10)

    Location, bed, bathroom, kitchen.

What could be improved: It was boiling hot. There was no air conditioner.

  • I love Łódź! – Piotr from United Kingdom – January 15, 2024 (9/10)

Location, location, location! And the view, apartment's layout, eclectic interior, very nice and helpful staff. Probably I'll be back in some time.

What could be improved: Temperature – but it's maybe only my problem; I feel cold most of the time, and it was winter & -12°C. Washing machine would be very useful during longer stay.

  • Really good location , an apartment is a bit small for a family of 3 ,very clean – Joanna from United Kingdom – October 19, 2023 (8/10)

The location was really good, everything nearby, and communication from a reception staff excellent, especially gentlemen ive spoke with late night, he explained everything in polite and professional way helping me with all informations i need it i think his name was Michał Thank you!

What could be improved: The apartment is bit too small for a family of 3

  • Close to everything. – Zloto from United Kingdom – October 9, 2023 (8/10)

Great location, right in the historic centre. The room itself, although very small, was well equipped. For a solo traveller it was fine.Transport links were very close by.

What could be improved: The promotional photos suggested the room was larger than in reality. It was very tight to get around the, admittedly very large, bed to the wardrobe. For two people, this could have been a problem. The lack of a kitchen sink was a surprise, meaning all dishes need to be washed in the bathroom sink. This should have been made clearer.
The corridor lighting needs to be addressed, as it wasn't working on the first and second floors and thus a serious safety hazard. Hopefully, this has now been fixed.

  • good place. – Wolfgang from Germany – September 21, 2023 (9/10)

it is right in the center. that is why it is very loud in nighttime on the weekend. but very good.

  • Nice central apartment – Sara from Sweden – August 23, 2023 (9/10)

Nice apartment centrally located in the city. It was not noisy even if the apartment was close to the main street.

What could be improved: The stairs to the apartment was old and small. The apartment got hot during the day and the night which made it a bit hard to sleep since there is no AC.
