I mean, you’re still only about fifteen minutes from Piotrkowska Street (the main drag everyone talks about), but you get this neighborhood feel that most hotels can’t offer. The building itself has that solid Eastern European apartment block vibe – nothing fancy from the outside, but inside it’s been thoughtfully updated. The hallways smell faintly of cleaning products rather than old cooking, which tells you the management actually cares.

What really sold me was the parking situation – and I can’t stress this enough if you’re driving in Poland. Finding parking in Łódź can be absolutely maddening, especially near the city center where you’re constantly feeding meters or worrying about time limits. Here, you just pull up and park for free, which honestly saves you both money and sanity. The apartment itself feels more spacious than most hotel rooms I’ve stayed in around Europe. The three bedrooms are actually three proper bedrooms, not some creative arrangement where someone’s sleeping in a glorified closet. The kitchen is fully equipped too – I made breakfast there several mornings and it had everything I needed, including a decent coffee maker (crucial, obviously). The Wi-Fi works well throughout, though it can get a bit sluggish in the evening when I assume everyone in the building is streaming something. The 8.5 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury by any stretch, but it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. The beds are comfortable enough that I actually slept better than I do at home sometimes, and the shower has proper water pressure. You’ll also appreciate having a washing machine if you’re staying more than a few days – these little conveniences add up when you’re traveling with kids or just want to pack lighter. I’d definitely stay here again, especially since the host responds quickly to messages and seems genuinely interested in making sure guests are comfortable rather than just collecting booking fees.

  It was conveniet for us to be in the same place. Owner is nice and parking is safe!
  
  What could be improved: Sofa beds are really not comfortable. You should eather change them or buy very thick mattrasses to put on top.
  Water boiler is small, 2 families can not have shower in the same hour, so you must plan that.

  Very welcoming owner, Anna. It was lovely of her to give us the advice to visit the local zoo which recently had a major expansion towards adding sea life (many amazing water tanks!). Had no idea about it so we had a great time there thanks to Anna's advice. The apartment itself was clean and spacious. The place is pretty quiet. No loud roads around. Would recommend staying.
