You know what? Apartament w Centrum 38 completely caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best possible way. When I initially arrived at Zarzewska street, I’ll be honest I was questioning what I’d signed up for. It’s this peaceful residential road that frankly doesn’t look like much from the outside, but that’s really part of its appeal. You’re right in the center of Łódź without all the tourist madness, which is quite rare to discover these days.

The apartment itself has this comfortable quality that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some impersonal hotel room. The floors creak just a little when you walk around (not in a bothersome way, more like personality), and there’s real books on the shelves – not just decorative rubbish. I genuinely appreciated having a functional kitchen because, let’s face it, dining out every meal gets costly quickly, especially when you’re traveling for more than just a weekend. The Wi-Fi is reliable too, which matters if you’re trying to get any work done or just want to stream something after exploring the city all day.

Location-wise, this place is really brilliant. Zarzewska puts you walking distance from Piotrkowska Street – you know, that famous pedestrian strip everyone mentions – but you’re far enough away that you won’t hear intoxicated tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. I could comfortably walk to most of the main attractions, and there’s a nice little grocery store about three blocks away where the woman behind the counter actually recognized me by day three (which never happens in larger cities). Parking was much easier than I anticipated too; there’s usually spots on the side streets, though weekends can get a bit crowded. The building itself is one of those classic Polish apartment blocks that looks a bit worn around the edges but is surprisingly well-kept inside – you’ll see what I mean when you get there.

What really wins me over about this place is that it feels genuine. The neighborhood has actual Polish families living their everyday lives, not just a bunch of Airbnbs piled on top of each other. In the mornings, you’ll hear children heading to school and smell coffee wafting from other apartments. It’s that authentic city experience you don’t always get when you stay in the obvious tourist areas. Sure, it’s not luxurious – we’re talking 3-star territory here – but everything functions, it’s clean, and honestly, the 8.6 rating makes complete sense once you spend a night or two there. If you want to experience Łódź like someone who actually lives there rather than just passing through, this is your spot.

  Wszystko zgodnie z opisem. Rewelacja ! Super wygodne łóżka, ogromny TV, bardzo fajnie, gustownie urządzone mieszkanie. Bardzo czysta łazienka, także świetne, nietuzinkowe rozwiązania i wykończenia, wszystko – jak nowe…. Jesteśmy zachwyceni pobytem w tym miejscu. Bardzo cicha ustronna okolica, zupełnie blisko komunikacji miejskiej we wszystkich kierunkach -tramwaje, autobusy. Z pewnością tu jeszcze wrócimy. Tak więc nie wahaj się i nie szukaj dalej… Właśnie znalazłeś super miejsce, to którego szukałeś i to za rozsądne pieniądze !
