The windows face the street, so you get these glimpses of neighborhood life that I found pretty charming, though it does mean you’ll hear some morning traffic if you’re a light sleeper.

What really won me over was the location situation. Baluty isn’t exactly tourist central, which turned out to be perfect because you get this authentic slice of Łódź without the crowds. There’s a small market just a few blocks down Turoszowska where locals do their shopping – I picked up some fresh bread there that was honestly better than anything I had at restaurants downtown. The tram connections are actually pretty solid once you figure out the system (took me a day, but the locals are patient with confused tourists). You’re maybe 15-20 minutes from the main tourist spots, but close enough to some great little cafes that definitely don’t see many visitors. I found this tiny place that serves incredible pierogi just by wandering around one evening – the kind of discovery you make when you’re staying in a real neighborhood instead of the hotel district. The building itself is pretty typical for the area, nothing flashy but well-maintained, and check-in was straightforward though you might want to brush up on basic Polish phrases or have Google Translate ready. For the price point, you’re getting solid value – it’s clean, functional, and gives you that apartment-living experience that makes a longer stay feel less like tourism and more like… well, actually staying somewhere.

  What could be improved: Ciśnienie ciepłej wody pod prysznicem okropne, ledwo można było się umyć. Prysznic wymagałby odświeżenia, bo jest strasznie zaniedbany i drzwi które ledwo się trzymają.

  Cicha spokojna okolica.w bloku było cicho więc można było spokojnie się wyspać.lozka wygodne mieszkanie wyposażone w pralkę zmywarkę piekarnik i lodówkę.Fajne oswietlenie mieszkania.w oknach rolety przyciemniające i to na duzy plus.
  Na wejściu reczniki byly czyste uprane posciel też podłogi czyste.
  
  What could be improved: Niestety duzy minus za to że w mieszkaniu były widoczne uszkodzenia o których zarzadca wiedział a ich nie usunal.ja jako kolejny gość jaka mam Gwarancje że nie zostanę posadzona o to że ja ichn dokonałam.oczywiscie skontaktowałam się z zarzadcą i wyslalam zdjęcia uszkodzen.
  Trzeba zrobic roqniwz generalny porzadek mieszkania bo Firanki widac że rok nie prane zachlapane ,rolety równiez zachlapane jedzeniem badz sokami, Pralka nie używana i nie sprawdzana zamknięta a w gumie pleśń.cale pranie zamiast pachnieć nieprzyjemnie pachniało.kibelek tez nie czyszczony z rdzą niestety.

  Spodobało się to że mieszkanie znajduje się na parterze, cicha okolica, blisko sklepy i jest gdzie zaparkować samochód.

  It's a simple one living room one bedroom apartment in a quiet sleeping district. It was especially suitable for me, because my parents currently rent their apartment nearby and my purpose was visiting them in Lodz.
  
  What could be improved: Bathroom smelled a bit like sewer, but once you turn on the vent fan it's getting better. A bit far from the downtown.
