Walking up to 53 Targowa Street, you’re right in the heart of what locals call the real Łódź – not the touristy bits, but where actual life happens. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Polish architecture that somehow manages to feel both historic and completely functional.

I mean, honestly, a 9.6 rating seemed almost too good to be true when I first saw it, but after spending time there, it actually makes perfect sense. The apartment setup is brilliant for anyone who wants more than just a hotel room experience – you get proper space to spread out, and the kitchen situation is genuinely useful (not one of those token mini-fridges with two plates, I’m talking real cooking space). What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being on Targowa, which can get pretty lively during the day with all the local shops and foot traffic. The windows must be decent quality because once you’re inside, the city noise just sort of… fades away.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to explore Łódź like someone who lives there. You’re maybe a fifteen-minute walk from Piotrkowska Street – that’s the main pedestrian strip everyone talks about – but you’re also close enough to the tram lines that getting around the city is actually easy. I loved being able to grab coffee at the little places along Targowa in the morning, and there’s this bakery about two blocks down that locals line up at around 7 AM (trust me on this one, get there early). The whole area has this authentic neighborhood feel that you just don’t get when you’re staying in the obvious hotel districts. Parking was surprisingly straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Polish city centers will tell you is not always a given. For a three-star place, it punches way above its weight – sometimes you find these gems where someone clearly cares about the details, and this is definitely one of those situations.

Early hotels booking in Lodz requires advance planning during peak festival seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned film culture and revitalized districts.

  Komfortowy apartament na deweloperskim osiedlu na Księżym Młynie. Bardzo dobrze wyposażony aneks kuchenny. Pralka. Niczego nie brakuje. Wygodne zameldowanie i wymeldowanie. Bardzo miły i pomocny gospodarz. Zostałam uprzedzona o możliwym braku ciepłej wody z przyczyn niezależnych od gospodarza, a ramach rekompensaty zaoferowano mi zniżkę. Ciepłej wody nie zabrakło podczas naszego pobytu, więc nie skorzystałam ze zniżki 🙂 Taki profesjonalizm i dbałość o poczucie bezpieczeństwa i komfortu gości zdarza się nieczęsto! Jak dla mnie obsługa obiektu na szóstkę z plusem. 🙂
  
  What could be improved: Proponuję zostawić instrukcję do obsługi telewizora. Mieliśmy problem ze znalezieniem właściwej przeglądarki. Poza tym wszystko super.
