Apartament Piotrkowska 44 – studio Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into Apartament Piotrkowska 44 – studio, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a four-star studio apartment tucked away on the fourth floor of a building in Łódź. But you know what? This place completely surprised me. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how travelers live — not just where they sleep.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about the location — it’s genuinely fantastic, and I mean that. You’re right in Śródmieście, which is basically the beating heart of Łódź, and couples seem to get this because they’ve rated the location 9.7 for romantic getaways. The famous Piotrkowska Street (one of the longest commercial streets in Europe, actually) is right there, so you can walk to restaurants, bars, and shops without even thinking about it. I spent most evenings just wandering around the area, and there’s always something happening — street performers, little cafes staying open late, that sort of authentic city energy you can’t fake.
The Studio Setup
The studio itself is smartly designed, which matters when you’re dealing with a compact space. There’s a proper kitchen setup that actually works — I made coffee every morning and even cooked a simple dinner one night. The room flows well from the sleeping area to the living space, and honestly, it doesn’t feel cramped like some studio apartments can. The windows let in good natural light, and being on the fourth floor means you get nice views of the neighborhood without too much street noise.
Practical Considerations
Let me be real about the practical stuff — the building is older, so don’t expect a sleek modern elevator experience. But that’s part of the charm, I suppose. The apartment has everything you actually need: good Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom that’s clean and functional. The parking situation in this part of Łódź can be tricky, so if you’re driving, plan accordingly or ask about options beforehand. I walked everywhere, which worked perfectly given the central location.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it balances being in the absolute center of everything while still feeling like a proper home base. You’re not just getting a hotel room — you’re getting a slice of local life in one of Poland’s most interesting cities. The 8.0 rating makes sense because it delivers on what matters most: location, comfort, and that feeling of actually living somewhere rather than just passing through. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about having your own little studio in the heart of the city, being able to grab fresh bread from a nearby bakery and make breakfast together before heading out to explore.
Hotels near me in Lodz offer convenient access to the city center, where guests can easily walk to Piotrkowska Street, Manufaktura complex, and vibrant cultural venues.

The bed covers were very old and smelly. When you rent an apartment, even if you want to, there is no bed there and there is a sofa. The covers should be clean and new.

The most convenient place to stay in Łódź – Akbar from United States – October 5, 2023 (10/10)
Well designed, well equipped, clean, best location and responsive owner.
Nice flat in a great central location – Bluejedi from Italy – July 21, 2023 (9/10)
Nice brand new flat in a nice brand new condo. Great location on Piotrkowska Street, with market, coffeshop and restaurant, shops and Lime station, a in a few steps. The flat has a nice design as in pictures. Nice shower. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Smooth self-check-in/out.
What could be improved: I found no coffe machine, so I bought a french press which I left for future guests, no big issue. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the flat is very nice. The only thing which I would improve is the sofa-bed which is actually a sofa: changing it with a real bed would improve the overall comfort very much (and my evaluation).Exceptional – Zb67 from Romania – July 6, 2023 (10/10)
new apartment, fast internet
What could be improved: there's no double bed, it's just a couchHighly recommended for individual business travellers. – Grigory from Austria – January 2, 2023 (9/10)
I really enjoyed my stay in this apartment. It’s compact but well-designed and fully equipped, so it was perfect for my business trip. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The location is very convenient to explore Lodz, while quiet as the building is inside a courtyard.
