Apartament No 19 Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Apartament No 19 on Wileńska Street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a typical residential building in Łódź. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are hiding in plain sight. This little gem sits right in the heart of the city, and I mean that in the best possible way – you’re actually living like a local here, not trapped in some sterile hotel bubble.
The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious, which is rare for European city stays. I loved that it felt like staying in someone’s actual home (in a good way, not in a creepy way). The kitchen was properly equipped – not just those sad mini-fridges and a kettle you usually get. I actually cooked dinner one night, picked up some pierogi from the market down the street, and it felt completely natural. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with a brick, and honestly, the whole place was spotless. You can tell someone really cares about maintaining this space.
Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned to explore Łódź without feeling like you’re stuck in tourist central. The tram connections are solid – I could get to Piotrkowska Street (the main pedestrian strip) in about fifteen minutes, but the neighborhood itself has this authentic Polish vibe that I really appreciated. There’s a decent grocery store within walking distance, some local cafés where you’ll hear more Polish than English, and the street is quiet enough that you can actually sleep at night. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in European cities will appreciate. I mean, it’s not like having your own driveway, but for a city center location, you won’t be circling blocks for an hour.
What really struck me was how the place just… works. Check-in was straightforward, the host was responsive without being overbearing, and all those little details were handled – good wifi, proper shower pressure, enough outlets for your devices. It’s the kind of place where you settle in after the first day and start planning a longer stay next time. For the price point, especially considering you’re getting a full apartment rather than just a hotel room, it’s honestly a steal. If you’re looking to experience Łódź like you actually live there, rather than just passing through, this is exactly what you want.

Exceptional – Wicherek from Poland – August 10, 2025 (10/10)
Nuostabus poilsis – Egidijus from Lithuania – July 20, 2025 (10/10)
Šiuolaikiškas, naujai įrengtas butas, apgalvotos visos detalės.
Buvome su šeima – puikiai pailsėjome.
Labai patogi strateginė vieta: netoli vandens parkas, zoologijos sodas, botanikos sodas, parkas su žaidimų aikštele vaikams. Visur keliavome pėsti, nes nereikia galvot apie parkavimo klausimus.
Ramus rajonas.Apartament z duszą – Aleksandra from Poland – July 14, 2025 (10/10)
Komfortowy i gustownie urządzony apartament w kamienicy z duszą. Wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne, więc sprawdzi się również przy dłuższym pobycie. Wszystkie sprzęty nowe, a czystość pierwsza klasa.
What could be improved: Brak 🙂
