The 7.5 rating makes sense to me; it’s not going to wow you with luxury touches, but everything works and it’s genuinely comfortable.

What I really appreciated was how it sits right in a neighborhood where actual people live and work. You know that feeling when you’re staying somewhere touristy and everything feels a bit… performed? Well, this is the opposite of that. In the morning, you’ll hear the trams rumbling by (the number 6 line is super convenient for getting around), and there’s this little café across the street where the owner clearly knows everyone’s coffee order by heart. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that overly formal hotel theater, just practical information about Wi-Fi passwords and where to find extra towels. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, but there are spots on the side streets if you’re willing to walk a block or two. Honestly, for a 3-star place in a city like Łódź, you’re getting solid value without the pretense. It’s the kind of spot where you settle in, figure out the neighborhood rhythms, and end up feeling like you’ve actually experienced the city rather than just passed through it.
