I mean, you can walk to Piotrkowska Street in about ten minutes (and trust me, you’ll want to because that’s where all the good restaurants and bars are hiding), but you’re far enough off the main drag that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. The building itself has that wonderful pre-war character that you find all over this part of the city – high ceilings, original details that somehow survived everything this place has been through over the decades. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully everything inside has been designed. The murals aren’t just random artwork slapped on walls; they actually tell a story about Łódź’s industrial past, which – let’s be honest – most visitors never really get to understand. The apartment feels spacious without being cavernous, and there’s this perfect balance between having all the modern stuff you actually need (decent WiFi, a kitchen that works, hot water that doesn’t run out) while keeping that authentic Polish apartment vibe intact.

I’ll be straight with you – at first I was skeptical about that 9.8 rating because, well, those numbers can be pretty inflated sometimes. But after spending a few days there, I actually get it. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the way they’ve stocked the kitchen with proper coffee (not that instant nonsense) to how they’ve arranged the seating so you can actually look out the windows while relaxing. Even small things like having enough electrical outlets near the bed and providing decent hangers in the closet – stuff that sounds boring but makes your stay so much easier. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too; none of that awkward waiting around or confusing key pickup situations. If I had to mention one tiny downside, the stairs can be a bit steep if you’re hauling heavy luggage, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for these older buildings and it’s worth it for the character you get. This is exactly the kind of place I’d recommend to friends who want to experience Łódź like they’re actually living there for a few days, not just passing through.

  Trávila jsem prázdniny s dětmi na putování po Polsku s cílovou destinací u Baltského moře. Cestou zpátky domů nás čekala dlouhá štreka, a tak jsme chtěli někde po cestě složit hlavu. Říkala jsem si, že stačí něco obyčejného na přespání – přece jen jsme plánovali dorazit až večer.
  
  Jenže když jsem brouzdala po Bookingu, tahle nabídka na mě vyskočila jako poklad a já měla jasno: tohle není jen ubytování, to je láska na první pohled! Hned jsem chtěla zůstat dvě noci, jenže ouha – volná byla jen jedna. No co, aspoň že tak!
  
  Pokoj byl nádherný, atmosféra parádní a děti? Ty nejenže nechtěly jít spát (což není zas taková novinka), ale ráno odmítaly odjet.😀.
  
  Byl to zážitek, na který budeme dlouho vzpomínat – stylový, pohodlný a prostě dokonalý.
  
  Na závěr našeho putování to nejlepší – jak se říká, třešnička na dortu!
  
  What could be improved: Uvnitř domu to vypadalo trochu strašidelně , jak z minulého století.
  Nikdo nečekal, že za dveřmi se bude skrývat tak pěkný byt.
