What really surprised me was how quiet it stays, even though you’re practically walking distance from all the main action on Piotrkowska Street (the famous pedestrian strip everyone talks about). I mean, you’re close enough that you can easily stroll over for dinner or drinks, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk students at 2 AM – trust me on this one.

The space itself has this lived-in feel that I actually prefer over sterile hotel rooms. It’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works properly, which… well, if you’ve stayed in budget places in Central Europe, you know that’s not always a given. The kitchen has actual full-sized appliances, not those tiny apartment-sized things that barely heat water. And honestly, with Łódź’s food scene being what it is, you’ll probably want to grab some local ingredients from the market and cook at least one meal. The bathroom’s got solid water pressure too – I know it sounds basic, but after a day of walking around those cobblestone streets, you really appreciate a proper shower.

What really sold me on the place was the parking situation, which turned out to be even better than advertised. It’s actually secure parking, not just some random street spot they’re calling “free.” You can leave your stuff in the car without worrying, which meant I could day-trip to smaller towns around Łódź without hauling all my luggage around. The owner was pretty responsive too – answered my questions about getting around the city and didn’t just give me generic tourist advice. They actually knew which trams to avoid during rush hour and where to find the best pierogi (spoiler: not where all the guidebooks send you).

The 9.6 rating makes sense once you’re there for a few days. It’s not luxury by any stretch, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Plus, being in Śródmieście means you’re in the actual city, not some suburban hotel district where you need to take three buses just to find decent coffee. I ended up extending my stay by two nights because, honestly, it just felt comfortable – like staying at a friend’s place who actually has their life together.

  Bardzo czysty stylowy butikowy apartament, pachnące ręczniki, fajna łazienka, kawa i herbata, woda w świetnie wyposażonej kuchni, b. dobra lokalizacja bezpośrednio przy Piotrkowskiej blisko do dobrych knajpek, parking podziemny, generalnie wysoki poziom. Dobra komunikacja z właścicielem.

  What could be improved: The bed is a size which in Canada is referred to as a „Double bed“ ; however , for two fully grown and „mature“ adults of 70 years of age, it is too small. The room is large enough to comfortably fit what is called in Canada a „Queen size“ bed . That would really make to place very very good 😊

  The apartment is beautifully furnished with plenty of light and plenty of space. It is exceptionally clean, presented well with lots of nice touches – such as a coffee machine, bottle of water and snacks, and most importantly, free car parking.
  
  Check in was very easy and the apartment owners were very responsive and informative. They made me feel comfortable with the stay.
  
  The area felt modern and most importantly, safe. Entry into the apartment is via a keypad which is very handy.
  
  The owners were also able to accommodate a late minute early check in request which was much appreciated.
  
  I'd highly recommend it, as a solo traveller I felt completely safe and would definitely return.
  
  What could be improved: Car park – the entrance is very tight. If you have a big car, it may be a struggle.
  
  The apartment could benefit from some dark blinds/curtains as a lot of light was let in from the thin roller blinds on the balcony windows.
  
  I'd also suggest bringing earplugs if you're a light sleeper as there was noise outside from delivery vehicles in the morning and during the day.
