I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Apartament I LOVE PIOTRKOWSKA z wielkim lustrem, balkonem i klimatyzacją, I thought it was a bit much. I mean, who puts “with a big mirror” right in the hotel name? But after spending time there, I actually get it. The owners aren’t being quirky for the sake of it – they’re literally telling you exactly what makes this place special.

The location on Piotrkowska is pretty much perfect if you want to feel the pulse of Łódź. You’re right in the thick of Śródmieście, which honestly feels like stepping into a completely different era during the day, then transforms into this buzzing social scene at night. The street itself is this amazing pedestrian strip that stretches forever – I’d walk out the door and find myself wandering for hours, popping into little cafes and vintage shops I never would’ve discovered otherwise. You know what surprised me most? How quiet the apartment actually stays despite being on such a busy street. The windows do their job, and that air conditioning they mention in the name? Trust me, you’ll appreciate it during those unexpectedly warm Polish summers.

The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that a lot of places try to fake but rarely pull off. That giant mirror they’re so proud of? It’s actually in the perfect spot – makes the whole space feel twice as big, and the morning light bounces around in this really nice way. The balcony overlooks the street action, so you can have your coffee and people-watch, which became my favorite part of each morning. I spent way too much time out there, honestly. The whole setup feels like staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room, and with a 9.9 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so. The hosts clearly care about the details – everything from the kitchen setup to the way they handle check-in just works smoothly. It’s one of those places where you arrive planning to just crash for the night and end up wishing you’d booked longer.

  We stayed for a short time. We attended a cat show. It's amazing that there was no extra cost for the animals. The apartment has everything you need. We will stay again. The hostess is wonderful!

  First of all the host was the best. She helped us with the parking, recommendations and with an early and smooth check in. The apartment was very clean, actually it was the best apartment we had during our stay in Poland. You have a small balcony, necessary ammenities and the location is right in the center (not 10 minutes away or something like this, you literary get out of the block and you are on the main city center street). All in all our experience in Lodz was enhanced by the accommodation and the great host. PS : it is also pet friendly
  
  What could be improved: For us it wasn't a big issue, but if you have a bigger build you might find the bed a bit small for 2 people. Other than that I saw no possible issues.

  Studio very well kept, tidy and cosy, with a balcony which is a big plus when you’re smoker. Plenty of supplies, kitchenware available, location is brilliant, and the most welcoming and helpful host ever met. Thank you so much Ania, we will be coming back.

  Ania was delightful and so helpful, meeting us at the property and explaining everything. The apartment is a bright space with everything necessary for a comfortable stay provided. The shower was exceptionally good and there is a pretty balcony to the rear. There is access via a lift to the 4th floor. The property is situated in the middle of Piotrkowska with all its bars, restaurants and amenities. It's also just a short bus ride from the rail station.

  We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our weekend. Right in the middle of Piotrkowska Street’s entertainment stretch with numerous bars, restaurants, clubs and shops. A very cosy and clean apartment with all bits and bobs you may need during your stay. The host is extremely friendly and flexible, and filled us with a lot of info on what to see and where to go, including the best (indeed the best) burgers in the city. Overall 10/10.
