It feels authentic, like you’re actually experiencing how locals live rather than being tucked away in some generic accommodation bubble.

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully everything was set up inside. The apartment – number 6, ground floor – has this cozy, lived-in feeling that somehow manages to be both homey and spotlessly clean. The fact that it’s scored a 9.5 rating tells you something, and after staying there, I totally get why. The host clearly knows what travelers actually need, not just what looks good in photos. There’s proper kitchen equipment if you want to grab groceries from the nearby shops (and trust me, exploring Polish supermarkets is half the fun), decent Wi-Fi that actually works when you need it, and – this might sound small but it matters – really good blackout curtains that let you sleep in if you’ve been out exploring Łódź’s surprisingly vibrant nightlife scene. The whole setup just works, you know? It’s one of those places where everything feels intuitive, like someone actually thought through the guest experience rather than just throwing furniture in a room and calling it an apartment rental. Plus, being on the ground floor means no schlepping luggage up narrow stairs, which anyone who’s traveled around Europe’s older buildings will appreciate more than they probably should.
