The Srodmiescie district can get pretty lively (in the best way), but you’ll rest well.

What really impressed me is how the place embodies that whole post-industrial chic vibe Łódź does so brilliantly. The city’s got this captivating history – used to be Poland’s Manchester, all textiles and factories – and now it’s this cultural center with incredible street art and converted lofts everywhere. You can actually walk to the Manufaktura shopping center in about fifteen minutes if you need anything, though honestly, just exploring Piotrkowska will keep you occupied for hours. There’s this wonderful little milk bar (bar mleczny) just down the street where locals actually eat – none of that tourist trap nonsense. And if you’re into film at all, you’re practically next door to the famous Film School where Roman Polanski studied.

The 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s one of those places that nails the details – solid wifi (essential for me), a kitchen that actually has everything you need, not just a mini-fridge and wishful thinking. The check-in was seamless, and the hosts clearly understand what they’re doing. I particularly valued that they left some local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. They directed me toward this amazing pierogi place that I never would’ve discovered otherwise.

Look, Łódź isn’t Warsaw or Krakow – it doesn’t have that instant wow factor. But that’s precisely why I adored it, and why this apartment works so beautifully. It’s a city that rewards curiosity, and staying right on Piotrkowska means you’re in the ideal spot to explore. Whether you’re here for business, checking out the art scene, or just want to experience a Polish city that feels genuinely Polish rather than theme-park Polish, this place delivers. Plus, parking isn’t the disaster it is in larger cities – there are actually spaces around here, imagine that.

  The apartment was really nice. Lots of space. Windows were away from the street which meant calm evening even with open windows. Pleasant people at the reception.
  
  What could be improved: We couldnt find the parking place because the apartments are situated on a pedestrian street. We had to park somewhere else (and pay for one hour) so we could go and ask at the reception abour the parking. There was no parking near the entrance, but we were able to park at one of their other parking places few hundred meters away – it cost approximately 40 PLN for one night. Also the bathroom smelled kinda funky (probably sinks ans sewage).
