Aiden by Best Western Lodz Overview
You know what surprised me most about Aiden by Best Western Lodz? Walking up to this sleek, modern building on Legionow Street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place – but sometimes you get those pleasant surprises that make you rethink your assumptions about hotel ratings.
The location is actually pretty smart if you know Łódź at all. Legionow runs right through one of the more interesting parts of the city, and you’re walking distance from Piotrkowska Street (which, let’s be honest, is where you’ll end up spending most evenings anyway). The trams run frequently along this route, so getting around is easy – I mean, really easy compared to some Polish cities where you’re constantly checking schedules. What I appreciated was the quieter vibe once you’re inside; the street can get a bit busy during rush hour, but the windows do their job well. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Polish city centers will tell you is not something to take for granted.
The rooms have this clean, almost Scandinavian feel that works well – nothing fancy, but everything feels intentional and well-maintained. The beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and the bathrooms are modern enough that you won’t be fighting with ancient plumbing. Honestly, the whole place feels like it was designed by people who actually travel and know what matters. Little things like decent lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed, and blackout curtains that actually block light – these details add up. The breakfast situation is solid too; not groundbreaking, but fresh and with enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying a few days. I watched the staff during my stay, and they seemed to genuinely care about keeping things running smoothly rather than just going through the motions.
What really struck me was that 9.4 rating – at first I thought it might be inflated, but after a few days I got it. This isn’t trying to be a luxury hotel, and it doesn’t pretend to be. Instead, it’s doing the fundamentals really, really well. Clean, comfortable, efficiently run, and positioned where you can actually enjoy Łódź without feeling like you’re camping out in some remote corner of the city. The value proposition makes sense, especially if you’re the type of traveler who spends most of your time exploring rather than lounging around the hotel. I’d definitely stay here again, which for me is always the real test – would I book this place with my own money for a return visit?
Lodz’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with industrial charm, perfect for creative travelers wanting to experience daily life in this artistically vibrant Polish city.

Reviews of Aiden by Best Western Lodz
Very interesting and nice hotel, but the surroundings make vad contrast – Rasute from Lithuania – August 15, 2025 (9/10)
Rooms are nice, the building
What could be improved: The pillows were too big and uncomfortableBeautiful new hotel – spotless, well-maintained, and with spacious rooms. – Andrius from Lithuania – August 12, 2025 (9/10)
Beautiful new hotel – spotless, well-maintained, and with spacious rooms. The air conditioning and ventilation work perfectly, making the stay very comfortable. As the hotel is still new, it’s pleasantly quiet, though the breakfast selection is a bit limited. I appreciated being able to park my car right on the street in front of the hotel, with free parking over the weekend
Will be back :)! – Joannajbl from Netherlands – August 12, 2025 (10/10)
We had a wonderful stay at Aiden by Best Western Lodz. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the rooms felt very spacious, which made for a relaxing and pleasant experience. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. The bathroom was also impressively large and spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right from the start. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh choices to suit all tastes. Another great convenience was having two Żabka stores in the neighboring buildings, making it easy to grab extra snacks or anything else we needed.
What could be improved: While our stay was overall very pleasant, there are a few points that could be improved. The breakfast staff, while competent and efficient, did not come across as particularly friendly, which took away a little from the otherwise enjoyable breakfast experience. We also feel that the breakfast times could be adjusted to better match the check-out schedule — for example, if check-out is at 11:00, breakfast should go until 10:00, or ideally, check-out could be extended to 12:00 with breakfast served until 11:00. As it is, it can feel like a bit of a rush to finish breakfast and check out immediately afterwards.
Another point is that the shower water pressure was not very strong, and this seemed consistent no matter what time of day we tried. We understand this may be due to the building’s age, even though it has been fully renovated.Just perfect 👌 – Nica from Netherlands – August 1, 2025 (10/10)
Just perfect! One of the best hotels in Europe!

everything was nice, friendly staff, clean and spacious room, excellent breakfast, great price for value
What could be improved: nothingoverall good experience and great value for the money – Adrian from Romania – July 1, 2025 (10/10)
Really big room, everything was setup great, nice building as well in the center of the city, good access to everything
What could be improved: The access from the main road was locked and you needed to use the entrance from the parking lot which was a bit weird. We did not receive the wifi password and did not even bother as the wifi signal for the room was very bad.I would stay again. – Cecil from Ireland – June 30, 2025 (9/10)
Quiet location but close to city centre.
What could be improved: Room not cleaned one day but was handled very well by the reception staff when I requested fresh towels. Car parking is expensive which seems standard for city centre Lodz.Excellent – Janis from Latvia – June 25, 2025 (10/10)
Friendly and responsive staff. Large, comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Large and perfectly equipped bathroom. Delicious and extensive breakfast. Parking in the yard. Excellent price/quality.
I will come again – Ninoslav from Austria – June 23, 2025 (10/10)
