Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to ADLER Apartments on Nad Jasieniem street, I wasn’t expecting much from the neighborhood. This part of Łódź feels pretty residential, sort of tucked away from the main tourist drag, but you know what? That actually turned out to be one of its biggest selling points. The area’s got this authentic Polish vibe that you just don’t get when you’re staying right in the city center with all the other travelers.

The apartments themselves really surprised me. I mean, for a 3-star place, they’ve done something right to pull an 8.6 rating – and after staying there, I get it. The units are spacious (actually spacious, not “European spacious”), and whoever designed them understood that people need proper kitchen facilities when they’re traveling. I ended up cooking a few meals there, partly because I wanted to try some local ingredients from the nearby shops, but honestly also because the kitchen was just so well-equipped it seemed like a waste not to use it. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that weird hotel back ache, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure – small things, but they matter when you’re trying to feel human after a long day of sightseeing.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re far enough from the main roads that you don’t get constant traffic noise, but close enough that getting into central Łódź doesn’t require a major expedition. Parking was straightforward too, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate parking in Polish cities, you’ll know is basically a minor miracle. The staff… well, they’re not going to win any awards for chattiness, but they’re efficient and actually helpful when you need something. I had an issue with the WiFi on my second day (it was being temperamental in my unit), and they sorted it out within a couple hours without making me feel like I was asking for the moon. The check-in process was refreshingly simple – none of that drawn-out welcome presentation some places insist on giving you when all you want to do is drop your bags and find food. Speaking of food, there are some decent local spots within walking distance, including this little pierogi place that doesn’t look like much from the outside but absolutely delivers.

  Clean, easy self check in.
  For us location was ok, probably a bit further from the city centre for those that aim to discover it.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately shower was not working properly in our room. It was leaking and the water was hot, couldn’t bring it to a comfortable temperature.
  The stuff seemed to react quickly and offered to wait for an hour until they can fix it, was too late for us though.

  Fantastic apartment, exceeded expectations
  We absolutely loved this apartment. It is extremely well equipped and maintained – it had absolutely everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable and everything spotless and in great condition.
  Parking is convenient: there is a free parking available at the front of the building or paid parking at the back for a small fee.
  The apartment itself exceeded our expectations in every way. We truly enjoyed our stay and when in Lodz would definitely return to the Adler apartments!
  
  What could be improved: The only negative point is that I was asked to pay for parking immediately without being informed that free parking was available in front, which was a bit frustrating.

  Everything was perfect, the apartment was modernly arranged, the kitchen had all the utensils, a big fridge, From the apartment you can go to the courtyard, good sound insulation.
