First Impressions

When I first walked into 44 Piotrkowska Street, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from an four-star property tucked away on Wschodnia Street. But you know what? This place completely surprised me. The building itself has this understated elegance that feels authentically Polish — none of that cookie-cutter hotel vibe you get in chain properties. The staff greeted me in perfect English, which was a relief since my Polish is, well, pretty much nonexistent.

Location Magic

Here’s the thing about staying in Łódź — location is everything, and this hotel absolutely nails it. You’re literally in Śródmieście, which means you can walk to Piotrkowska Street (the main pedestrian drag) in about three minutes. I mean, I timed it because I’m that kind of person. The famous Manufaktura shopping center? Maybe a ten-minute stroll. What really impressed me was how quiet the room stayed despite being so central — the windows must be seriously well-insulated because I barely heard any street noise.

The Space Itself

My accommodation was more like a modern apartment than a traditional hotel room, which I actually loved. The kitchen area was compact but functional — perfect for making morning coffee or storing leftovers from one of the incredible Polish restaurants nearby. The design feels contemporary without being cold, if that makes sense. Clean lines, good lighting, and honestly some of the most comfortable bedding I’ve encountered in Central Europe. The bathroom was spotless and had this rainfall shower that I may have used for longer than necessary.

Neighborhood Discoveries

What I really appreciated was how the hotel sits right in the cultural heart of the city. There’s this fantastic restaurant called Anatewka just around the corner that serves incredible Jewish-Polish cuisine — the staff actually recommended it, and they were spot on. The area comes alive in the evenings, especially on weekends, but it never felt unsafe or overly touristy. You’re surrounded by locals going about their daily lives, which gives you a much more authentic feel for Polish city culture than you’d get staying near the airport or in some business district.

Why Guests Love It

After spending several nights here, I totally understand why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something genuinely romantic about the whole setup. The combination of being centrally located but still feeling like you have your own private space is pretty special. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of town, but honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re here. Everything worth seeing in Łódź is walkable, and the public transport connections are solid if you want to venture further out. The value for money is exceptional too — you’re getting four-star comfort and service without the premium pricing you’d pay in Warsaw or Krakow.

  Уютное местечко все рядом магазины улица Пятрокоская , мануфактура, все было очень чисто , все что нужно для первой необходимости было , чашки , ложки , бокалы ,кастрюля , сковородка и т.д.
  Нас было двое , но можно было и с ребенком разместится .Быстрое бронирование и инструкция.Очень милый персонал . Спасибо мы очень довольны! Рекомендую!

  Mieszkanie bardzo ładne, czyste, pachnące, tak jak i cały budynek z resztą. Bardzo ładne patio, dostęp do przestronnej windy. Wygodne łóżka, wystarczająco wyposażona kuchnia, świetny kontakt z właścicielem/zarządcą mieszkania. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Fenomenalna lokalizacja!
  
  What could be improved: Prysznic powinien zostać naprawiony, ponieważ jego ścianki nie są szczelne i woda wycieka na podłogę.

  Good central location. The apartment was clean, warm and quiet. I liked that the bathroom had many shelves, good big shower and undefloor heating.
  
  What could be improved: The sofa was quite uncomfortable for watching TV, which actually in the end did not matter too much as television was not working – all channels had no signal. Generally there was lack of comfortable seating in the apartment and it wa a bit bland.
  Lack of working TV, free internet, comfortable seating and wardrobe makes it no no good for longer stay.

  Lokalizacja super, przy ulicy Piotrkowskiej w cichym zaułku, bezpiecznie. Zameldowanie bezproblemowe. Bardzo czyste mieszkanie. Możliwość przygotowania sobie śniadania i zrobienia herbaty lub kawy. Kuchnia zaopatrzona w sztućce i naczynia.
  
  What could be improved: Kuchenka mikrofalowa niedostępna. Brak jednego ręcznika (było nas 4 osoby).

  Obiekt bardzo przytulny, dla 4 osób wystarczający. Bez problemu zmieściłyśmy się i miałyśmy swoją przestrzeń. W mieszkaniu było wszystko co potrzebne- nawet ręczniki i suszarka co jest ogromnym plusem. Lokalizacja wręcz idealna, ponieważ blisko najważniejszych atrakcji, jednocześnie umieszczona po drugiej stronie ruchliwej ulicy, więc było cicho i spokojnie. Polecam ten obiekt szczególnie za tą cenę i bardzo sympatycznego właściciela, który był bardzo pomocny.
